Gas supply to Swabi will begin today

PESHAWAR, Jan 31: Minister of State for Water and Power Amir Muqam will inaugurate gas supply to Swabi district on February 1. The inauguration was earlier scheduled for January 31 but was delayed due to engagements of the minister.

The gas supply to the area would fulfil the long standing demand of its people.

MILD QUAKE: An earthquake measuring four on Richter scale jolted Mansehra on Tuesday, says a press release issued here by the met office.

According to the preliminary analysis of Peshawar Meteorological Station, the epicentre of the mild quake lied in 200 kilometres north east of Peshawar in defunct Hazara division.

No immediate report of casualties was received. —APP
