PESHAWAR, Jan 30: Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani has directed the law-enforcement agencies to strengthen intelligence gathering network and make foolproof security arrangements during the month of Muharram.

He was presiding over a meeting held at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat to review the law and order situation in Muharram. Chief Secretary Ejaz Ahmad Qureshi, Home Secretary Badshah Gul Wazir, IGP Riffat Pasha, IG Frontier Corps Tariq Masood, Commandant FC Sikandar Muhammadzai, AIG Special Branch Masood Paracha and DIGs were also present in the meeting.
