Probe into gang-rape case complete

BAHAWALPUR, Jan 30: On the orders of the chief justice of Pakistan, District and Sessions Judge Syed Ijaz Husain Shah on Monday completed inquiry into the Shamshad Bibi gang-rape case.

The judge during the inquiry recorded the evidence of over 25 people. They included the victim, her husband Allah Bachaya, mother Zainab, other relatives and the police officials, who had conducted investigations into her complaint. The judge is likely to submit his report within a day or so to the chief justice.
