Published January 31, 2006

MITHI, Jan 30: The President of the Lund Welfare Association Tharparkar, Mr Mohammad Khan Lund, has appealed to the government as well as the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, HRCP, to take notice of the alleged excesses of the Arbabs against Lunds and Meghwars through their henchmen recruited in the police force.

At a press conference on Monday, Mr Lund alleged that in Tharparkar, 700 men from the militia of Arbabs have been recruited in police, which were being used by the Arbabs to persecute Lunds and Meghwars.
