GUJRANWALA: Four youngsters were found dead in a car here on Eid Day (Thursday) in the City Housing Society in Amanabad police precincts.

Reports said Zain, Daniyal, Afaq and Shehryar died of allegedly excessive dose of ice (recreational drug).

Zain and Daniyal were brothers, while Afaq and Shehryar were their cousins. Police said the bodies were shifted for autopsy. They said apparently no injury marks were found on the bodies. Further investigation is under way.

TRIPLE MURDER: Three members of a family were killed over an old enmity here on Eid Day (Thursday) at Burj Tasha area of Wazirabad.

Reports said suspect Nauman Haider called Chaudhry Iftikhar Chattha, his son Saad Iftikhar and his brother Manoor Chattha to his outhouse and allegedly shot them dead.

Alipur Chattha police have registered a case on the complaint of Bushra Khanum, the wife of deceased Iftikhar Chattha, according to the first information report.

Reports said two years ago Nauman had killed his father-in-law, sold his property and shifted to Lahore. A day before Eid, he visited the village, called the victims to his place and allegedly shot them dead.

Police have registered a case against Nauman and his four unidentified accomplices. Later, the funeral prayers for the deceased were offered at Burj Tasha. MNA Dr Nisar Cheema, former MPA Akmal Saif Chattha, MPA Adil Bakhsh Chattha and other political and social figures attended the funeral.
