LAHORE: Istehkam-i-Pakistan (IPP) President Abdul Aleem Khan has asked party leaders Awn Chaudhry and Nauman Ahmad Langrial to quit their positions in the federal cabinet.

According to party spokesperson Firdous Ashiq Awan, both Chaudhry and Langrial were part of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) government in their personal capacity before the creation of IPP.

“Since the IPP has no affiliation with the PDM government, the two leaders have been told to tender their resignations,” she said, quoting the party head.
