DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Unknown motorcyclists shot dead a Frontier Corps soldier in the limits of Chaudhwan police station here on Tuesday, an official said.

The deceased, Adil Shah, 23, had come home on leave, police Spokesman Syed Yaqoob Bukhari said. He added Saeedur Rehman reported to the police that his brother, Adil Shah, who served in FC Balochistan, was shot dead by unknown motorcyclists in Mohallah Musazai area.

Mr Rehman said they had no enmity with anyone.

The police registered a case and started investigation into the incident.

Meanwhile, a youth and a woman were killed for honour in the limits of Parova police station on Tuesday.

A police official said a man lodged a report with the Parova police on Tuesday, stating his 15-year-old son was axed to death in Jhok Masu area near the CRBC drain.

The deceased’s father said he was at home when someone informed him that his son’s body was lying near the drain. He nominated two brothers, residents of Jhok Masu, for murdering his son. He said the accused first killed his son and then their 26-year-old sister with an axe.

The police registered a double murder case and started investigation.
