JOBS SOUGHT: The local welfare bodies have criticised the denial of jobs to 123 candidates, who had cleared the physical and written tests to be inducted in the police department.

Shah Mehmood, chairman of Sons of Kohat, and Pir Shah Nawaz of Junglkhel welfare organisation, told the media on Saturday that only 20 candidates were inducted the against hundreds of vacant posts of constables.

They announced to take to the roads against the ‘grave injustice’ done to the youth of Kohat.

They said there were hundreds of posts of constables lying vacant in Kohat police, which were faced with a shortage of manpower.

They said the young jobless youth had deposited examination fees and passed physical and written tests, but were told the job quota had been completed.
