PTI says Senator Ejaz Chaudhry re-arrested, being taken to Lahore

The PTI says party Senator Ejaz Chaudhry has been re-arrested after the Islamabad High Court ordered his release.

In a tweet, the party said Chaudhry was presented in a court in Rawalpindi, where the police obtained the PTI’s transit remand. Chaudhry is now being taken to Lahore.

The senator will be presented before an anti-terrorism court in Lahore, the PTI said.
