PESHAWAR, Jan 23: The National Democratic Institute for International Affairs is holding a workshop for political activists in Mansehra on Tuesday under its programme for strengthening party branches in 10 districts of the country.

Around 40 activists of six major parties of the district will participate in the workshop being held in collaboration with the Sungi Development Foundation.

The workshop will emphasize the importance of developing party message, media profile, communication, event organization and outreach mechanisms at the local level.

The ‘Political party capacity building programme at the local level’ is being implemented with the support of the British department for international development.

Workshops are being conducted by the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs in Mansehra, Nowshera, Rawalpindi and Faisalabad in the third phase of the programme.
