Jehangir in 2nd round

KARACHI, Jan 22: Jehangir Rashid opened his title campaign on winning note following his straight sets victory over Naresh Das in the first round of men’s single of Sindh Ranking tennis championship on Sunday. The Karachi-based player after 2-5 (set score) down to Naresh fought back to win the first set 7-5 and won the second set 6-2 to enter the second round.

Top seed Yasir Khan crushed Asif Irfanullah 6-3, 6-0 in another match while Hidayatullah beat Munir Memon before advancing to the next round.

Rizwan Shamsi was the next to enter the second round of men’s singles when he brushed aside Kelash 6-1, 6-0.
