Councillor injured

GUJRANWALA, Jan 21: A UC councillor and his two cousins were injured by their rivals over an election row at Lohianwala village here on Saturday.

Reports said the councillor, Asif and his cousins Nawaz and Ilyas were present at their house when accused Papu Butt, Abdul Sattar and Jamil etc went there and opened fire on them following an exchange of hot words.

The injured were admitted to the local DHQ hospital in critical condition.
