ISLAMABAD, Jan 21: A six-member Iranian delegation headed by Deputy Minister for Petroleum Nejad Hosseinian is arriving here on Sunday to told talks on multi-billion Iran-Pakistan-India gas pipeline project.

A government official told Online that the delegation will hold meeting with Pakistani petroleum experts led by Secretary Petroleum and Natural Resources Ahmed Waqar on Monday.

He said the delegation would also meet Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Amanullah Khan Jadoon on Monday morning while they would also meet Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Resources Mir Naseer Mengal on Tuesday morning.

The official said the bilateral talks would be held in the ministry on January 23-24 and both sides would discuss in detail the route and delivery points of the proposed gas pipeline project.

“Price of gas, availability of gas in Iran and the Tripartite Framework Agreement (TFA) on the gas pipeline is likely to be discussed in the secretary level talks”, he said.—Online
