PARIS, Jan 19: France coach Raymond Domenech and two assistants will travel to Egypt to watch five matches at the African Nations Cup, which starts on Friday, including World Cup opponents Togo.

The French football federation said Domenech will watch Angola play Togo, as both countries have qualified for the June 9 to July 9 World Cup finals in Germany, on Jan 29 in Cairo.

Assistant Bruno Martini will watch Togo play the Democratic Republic of Congo on Saturday in Cairo and Tunisia, also World Cup qualifiers, play Zambia in Alexandria on Sunday.

Another assistant Pierre Mankowsk will watch Cameroon/Togo on January 25 in Cairo and Tunisia/South Africa the following day in Alexandria.—AFP
