SAHIWAL, Jan 18: A seven-year-old girl who had went missing two days back was found murdered after being raped in chak 158/9-L. Reports said Sana Mukhtar, daughter of one Mukhtar Ahmed, was kidnapped from the village bazaar. Her body was recovered from a deserted house outside the village by Ghaziabad police.
The police suspected that the unidentified culprit assaulted the girl after kidnapping her, and later strangulated her to death for fear of being exposed.
The police have registered the case and started investigation.
Meanwhile, the postmortem report confirmed rape of the girl.
