Sajjad named KIB skipper

KARACHI, Jan 17: Sajjad Mirza was named on Tuesday to lead the Karachi Intermediate Board (KIB) team in the Inter-board cricket championship starting from Jan 25.

Zone-I comprises Gujranwala, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Abbotabad, Kohat, Madran, Sargodha, Bannu, Islamabad and Lahore Technical Board and its matches will be contested in Gujranwala.

Zone-II matches will be played in Karachi and it consists of KIB, Multan, Quetta, Multan, DG Khan, Faisalabad, Larkana, Bahawalpur, Mirpurkhas, Hyderabad, Karachi Secondary and Technical Board.

Selected players are advised to report to Prof Ali Nawaz or coach Habibullah at TMC Ground on Jan 21 at 2.00pm.
