ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority (IHRA) has sealed two healthcare establishments in different areas of the capital.

As per details, IHRA’s inspection teams carried out inspections of 50 Healthcare Establishments (HCEs) in different areas of Islamabad during the past two weeks.

According to a statement, Jinnah Medical Complex and Sihala Dental Clinic were sealed due to different malpractices like absence of qualified medical staff and unhygienic conditions.

IHRA suspended the services of three healthcare establishments (HCEs) over different non-compliances like absence of qualified staff, unhygienic conditions and absence of a proper waste management system.

Two HCEs were recommended for registration and revocation of suspension whereas 21 healthcare establishments were found closed at the time of the visit by inspection teams.
