MIRPURKHAS, Jan 17: A delegation of the Mirpurkhas Special Sports and Welfare Association called on District Naib Nazim Dr Zafar Kamali on Tuesday and apprised him about the non-implementation of two per cent quota for special persons in government jobs.

The delegation comprised Mohammad Javed Malik, Abdul Hafeez, Lal Mohammad Baloch, Qamaruddin and Salahuddin.

The district naib nazim assured them that all efforts would be made to get the quota implemented in government jobs.

UNFAIR MEANS: The Secretary Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Mirpurkhas, Misbahuddin, has announced that 42 candidates of different institutions, who were caught red-handed while using unfair means during annual examinations for first year (2005), were declared failed in those papers.

A press release issued on Monday said that the failed candidates could appear in the next annual examinations. However, decision for examination centre would be announced later on.
