LAHORE: The Anti-Corruption Establishment has initiated proceedings against PTI’s former MNA Ghulam Bibi Bharwana in a corruption probe.

According to ACE spokesperson, Ghulam Bibi Bharwana possessed 50 acres of government land and did not deposit with the treasury government fee.

Similarly, PTI’s former federal state minister Farrukh Habib had set up an illegal car stand on government land. He said former MPA Waris Aziz of PTI allegedly converted 2,500 kanals of agricultural land into residential land under a project.

The ACE also launched probe against former provincial minister Murad Ras of PTI for awarding contracts to people of his liking to build the Insaf Academy.
