TOBA TEK SINGH: Samundri city police on Wednesday booked a reporter and cameraman of two private TV channels for allegedly instigating the people seeking free flour under Ramazan package against the government.

The complainant, a police Sub-Inspector Wali Muhammad, alleged in the FIR registered under section 16 of The Punjab Maintenance of Public Order Ordinance 1960 and sections 506, 553 and 186 of the Pakistan Penal Code, that a TV channel’s reporter Tahir Ali, and cameraman of another channel Abdul Hayee, provoked the flour seekers against Punjab government at a flour distribution point and interfered in the official matters.

However, none of the two media persons were arrested so far.
