BALAKOT, Jan 15: Balakot and its adjoining areas are in the grip of severe cold after recent rain and snowfall, with the mercury dropping to minus three degrees Centigrade. Landslides triggered by the rain in various areas have closed a number of roads, adding to the difficulties of local people.
