4 children die in tent fire

MANSEHRA, Jan 15: Four children were killed and three people injured when a fire broke out in a tent in the Alai area of Batgram district on Saturday night. The cause of fire was stated to be short-circuit. According to reports, the fire broke out in the tent of quake-hit families of Said Gul, Zameen Shah and Syed Zareen Shah of village Spaidaar Batkoul of Alai tehsil.

As a result, two daughters of Zareen Shah and two sons of Said Gul were killed, while three people sustained burn injuries.

The children were between 10 and 12 years of age. Their names could not be known.
