KARACHI: Thoroughbred bay horse Come On Champion looks fancied to reign supreme in the Sky Walker Cup should he maintain his form in the Gymkhana race meeting at the Karachi Racecourse on Sunday.

Come On Champion, which pulled off an upset by edging dark bay horse Robert to clinch the March Cup last week, will be up against five opponents in the top scale order I and II cup race that will be contested over four-and-a-half furlongs. He faces tough challenge from bay horse Zaheer Choice who had to be content with fourth place in his last run.

The cup race is the fifth in racing order of a five-race card drawn for the day.

Mare Sana Again is likely to dominate the opening race under scale order VIII that will go over four furlongs. It is expected to be chased by another mare Baby Champion among six acceptors.

Chestnut horse Geo Channa is on chance to make amends by overcoming rivals in the second race under scale order VII and VIII being run over four furlongs. He may be followed by chestnut horse Arsalan Choice among seven starters.

Filly Croissant is likely to stretch her winning run by capturing the third race under scale order VI that will go over four furlongs. Croissant, who completed her hat-trick last week, is pick of the field which has seven horses. Chestnut horse Wapiti looks a good choice for second place.

Bay horse Mr. On Job is poised to atone for preceding loss by picking up spoils in the fourth and supporting race under scale order III, IV and V being contested over four-and-a-half furlongs. Another bay horse Cracks Man may follow his footsteps among seven acceptors.

The first race starts at 1pm.
