KARACHI, Jan 15: The spokesman for the Karachi Building Control Authority (KBCA) has cautioned people to obtain prior information about any project in the city in which they intend to book a flat or shop to avoid financial loss. The KBCA in a statement on Sunday listed the names of ongoing projects in Gadap Town, which had illegally commenced advertising without obtaining required no objection certificates (NOC) from the authority concerned.

The names of 10 such projects include Gulistan-i-Hassan Housing Society in Murad Memon Goth, Al-Madina Model Village, Gulistan-i-Ali Housing Society, Gulistan-i-Noman HC, Hamal Garden, Indus City, Babar Garden, Indus Creek City, Gulistan-i-Zohra, and Al-Quresh Garden.

The spokesman has warned people not to carry out any buying or selling transaction in the above mentioned projects or else they would themselves be responsible for any loss.—APP
