QUETTA, Jan 13: Thirteen people died and 56 suffered injuries in two traffic accidents in Balochistan, police said here on Friday.

Eight people died and 11 suffered injuries when a Duki-bound wagon on its way from Loralai skidded off the road and fell into a deep ravine on Thursday evening.

Police officials said the accident was a result of over speeding. They said that the injured had been admitted to Civil Hospital, Loralai, whereas the driver escaped.

In another accident, five people were killed and 45 were wounded when a passenger coach overturned near Nushki on Friday.
