RAWALPINDI: Punjab caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Friday expressed his anger over kite flying and firing in the city despite a ban.

Taking notice of kite flying and firing, Mr Naqvi asked the regional police officer (RPO) and commissioner to submit a report in this regard.

Police should ensure implementation of the law prohibiting kite flying, he said, adding that legal action should be taken without discrimination.

He said despite information, prior arrangements should have been made to prevent kite flying.

The caretaker chief minister expressed his sorrow and grief over the casualties due to the firing and ordered best treatment for the injured.
