GWADAR: Unknown armed men set the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) office on fire in Kech district, police said on Thursday.

According to the police, the armed men entered the Nadra office in the Dasht-i-Khuddam area in the wee hours and set the office ablaze.

The building was badly damaged. “Our all record, computers and machinery were completely destroyed in the huge fire,” Nawaz Baloch, Nadra’s divisional director told Dawn.

The banned Baloch Liberation Army claimed responsibility for burning the Nadra office.
