Indian team arrives

LAHORE, Jan 5: A 16-member Indian cricket team led by Raul Dravid arrived on Thursday night on a 46-day tour of Pakistan. The visitors will play three Tests and five One-day Internationals, besides a three-day practice match from Jan 5 to Feb 19.

The team was scheduled to land at Allama Iqbal Airport at 6.20pm but it was delayed till 10pm.

Strict security arrangements were made from the airport to the team’s hotel.

The visitors will start the tour with three-day game against Pakistan ‘A’ at Bagh-i-Jinnah from Jan 7-9.
