PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court has ordered promotion of 41 judicial officers including seven additional district and sessions judges (ADSJs), nine senior civil judges and 25 civil judges cum judicial magistrates.

PHC Registrar Inamullah Khan issued three notifications on Friday announcing that these promotions were made on recommendations of the departmental promotion/administration committee.

The ADSJs (BPS-20) promoted as district and sessions judge (BPs-21) are: Ihteshamul Haq Danishmand Khan, Zeba Rasheed, Aalia Sadia Lodhi, Adil Majeed Khan, Shakirullah Khan and Arbab Aziz Ahmad.

The senior civil judges (BPS-19) promoted as ADSJs (BPS-20) include: Shaukat Ali, Mohammad Mushtaq, Akbar Ali, Imrana Shaheen, Akbar Ali, Quratul Ain Chand Irfan, Ijaz Younis, Shah Faisal and Ishtiaq Ahmad.

Similarly, the civil judges cum judicial magistrates (BPS-18) promoted as senior civil judges (BPS-19) are: Saleemur Rehman, Quratul Ain Rashid, Zia Jehangir, Gulzar Ullah, Fahad Ahmad, Badar Munir, Naeemullah Khan Jadoon, Syed Ijlal Hussain, Naveedullah, Amir Ali Afridi, Madiha Rehman, Mohammad Hayat, Farman Ali, Naveed Ahmad, Asif Raza, Mohammad Ismail, Saqib Khan, Ms Aliya, Nazia Hassan, Saeeda Akhtar, Amina Haider, Maliha Allauddin, Sanam Sajjad, Quratul Ain and Sadiq Ahmed.
