LANDI KOTAL (Khyber Agency), Jan 5: A tribal security guard was killed in a clash between Khasadaar force and a group of kidnappers in Bara tehsil on Thursday. The Khasadaars had arrested one Baidal Khan, brother of alleged kidnappers’ gang leader of Yaghistan at Maskak bus stand in Bara tehsil of Khyber agency.

The Yaghistan gang countered the security forces when they arrested Baidal and started shooting at the Khasadaars.

One khasadaar, Bakhtmir, who had been holding Baidal Khan, was seriously injured in the firing.

Baidal Khan, the arrested kidnapper, escaped but Bakhtmir, who had received serious injuries in the clash died in the hospital at Bara Tehsil.
