PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Tuesday notified Ikramullah as the additional chief secretary. He will continue to hold additional charge of his current position as the provincial secretary finance, an official notification issued here said.

Mr Ikramullah – a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, who was recently promoted, will look after the planning and development department.

He will succeed Shahab Ali Shah, also a BS-21 officer, who has been directed to report to the government of Balochistan upon his promotion.

Mr Ikramullah has previously held the charge of secretary home and tribal affairs, besides serving in Punjab as well as a field officer.
