CHINIOT: A girl was allegedly raped by a property owner as she went to Rajoa Chowk in Chiniot to look for a place to rent.

When the girl arrived at the house, the owner shut the door from inside and raped her.

When the girl failed to return, her aunt went to the residence and saw the suspect raping her.

The aunt called the police, who initially detained but eventually released the man.

When the incident was reported in the media, the city police registered a case.

In addition, an investigation against Emergency 15 officials was launched for releasing the suspect.
