Unlucky Fawad misses century

KARACHI, Jan 4: Fawad Alam missed a century by six runs but Pakistan Customs is battling to avoid an innings defeat after being forced to follow-on in their four-day Patrons Cricket Trophy Grade-I match against HBL on Wednesday.

Customs were dismissed for 283 in their first innings after having resumed at 74 for three wickets. Required another 174 to avoid innings defeat, Customs were 49 for one wicket in their second innings.

Fawad was run out by Farhan for 94.

He hit nine fours and a six. Murtuza was unbeaten on 43 including five fours and a six.
