HYDERABAD, Jan 3: District Council Convenor Zafar Ali Rajput has said that he will serve people of the entire district without any discrimination in cooperation with the district nazim.

He said that he would try his level best to uphold sanctity of the council.

He was addressing to members of the district council after taking oath as the district naib nazim by the district and sessions judge, Mr Zaheeruddin S. Leghari.

District Nazim Kanwar Naveed Jamil was present on the occasion.

Mr Rajput expressed his gratitude to Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain for selecting Haq Parast Panel for the post of district naib nazim.

He said that he would work for upholding sanctity of the council and try to protect privilege of every member.

He told members that their views would be respected and difference of opinion would also be tolerated.

City Taluka Naib Nazim Shabbar Chishti, Latifabad Taluka Naib Nazim Shujauddin, Taluka Naib Nazim Mir Ashraf alias Ghulam Husain Talpur and Qasimabad Taluka Naib Nazim Ghulam Hyder Shahani also took oath of their offices in separate ceremonies in their councils.
