Flights cancelled

LAHORE, Jan 2: Several flights were cancelled and delayed due to bad weather on Monday. The Karachi and Multan bound flights (PK-405 and PK-385) which were scheduled to leave for their destinations at 4.45am and 9.30am, respectively, were cancelled.

Nine flights —- Karachi-bound PK-315 and PK-391 were delayed for five and one-and-a-half hours, Islamabad-bound PK-356 and PK-390 were delayed for about five and two hours, Quetta-bound PK-323, Sukkur-bound PK-391, Bahawalpur-bound PK-601 and Delhi-bound PK-270 were delayed for one and three hours.

Meanwhile, all upcountry trains arrived two to four hours behind their schedule time.

PIA: The PIA authorities have advised passengers to check their flight timings at 111-786-786 and 042-9034999 before leaving for the airport to avoid inconvenience.
