LARKANA, Jan 2: Writers and intellectuals paying tributes to Shaikh Ayaz called for translating his works in other languages of the world.

They were speaking at a function held to commemorate the eighth death anniversary of Shaikh Ayaz under the auspices of Sindhi Adabi Sangat Naudero and Barani Mughiri branches on Sunday.

They said Ayaz’s poetry was filled with fragrance of melody and music.

The speakers said he had not only pointed towards new horizons but also constructed new paths and today’s resistance in Sindh was result of Ayaz’s ideas.
