ISLAMABAD, Jan 1: Chairman of the All-Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said on Sunday he wanted to visit Pakistan and the Azad Jammu Kashmir to express solidarity with the people affected by the Oct 8 earthquake. In an interview with the PTV, he said: “Our brothers in AJK and Pakistan have suffered a lot because of the earthquake.

He said the APHC was eager to meet with the people affected by the major earthquake.

“Unfortunately, due to the situation in the occupied Kashmir, we have not been able to meet them,”, he added. He said the three-member APHC delegation wanted to come by the Srinagar-Muzaffarabad bus service.—APP
