LAHORE: Master Paints Black and FG/Din Polo recorded victories on the second day of the two-week eight-goal Corps Comma­nder Polo Cup here at the Jinnah Polo Fields on Wednesday.

Seven-goal Manuel Carranza guided Master Paints Blacks to edge past Team Diamond Paints/Sheikhoo Steel 10-8.

Sufi Mohammad Haroon scored two goals while Sufi Mohammad Amir got one for the winners.

Nicolas Antinori excelled for Team Diamond Paints/Sheikhoo Steel smashing a double hat-trick. Lt Col Omer Minhas (retired) pumped in the remaining two goals.

In the second match, Tomas Marin Moreno fired in 10 goals for FG/Din Polo to rout Team DS/Barry 12-4.

Team-mates Saif Noon and Shah Shamyl Alam chipped in with one goal.

For the losing side DS/Barry, Rulo Trotz hammered a hat-trick and Daniyal Shaikh added one goal.
