NORTH WAZIRISTAN: Three traders belonging to Bannu district were gunned down in Mirali town here on Monday night, the police said.

Officials said that unknown assailants whisked away the three traders from a jewellery shop in the main bazaar late night when they were sleeping.

The bullet-riddled bodies of the three traders were recovered from the fields on the outskirts of the town. The killers left names and addresses of the traders with their bodies.

The victims had been identified as Rehmatullah, Haroon and Dildar Shah.

Cause of the killings could not be ascertained as no group has yet to claim responsibility for the attack.
