KARACHI, Dec 31: Sindh Chief Secretary, Fazal-ur-Rehman has directed all concerned departments to expedite population welfare programme in the province and strengthen interdepartmental contacts to help achieve set targets of quality life for all.

Chairing, the meeting of Steering Committee, Population Welfare Programme here on Saturday, the Chief Secretary also asked the authorities to arrange an upto-date presentation, focussing on availability of funds, manpower and relevant facilities provided for the programme in the province.

The presentation was also directed to cover contribution and performance of concerned departments responsible to implement and monitor population control schemes at the grass-root levels across the province.—APP
