DADU: Bandits shot dead a woman when she resisted their attempt to rob her family after breaking into her house in Moundar Nako area late on Wednesday night.

The bandits were herding the inmates into a room to lock them up before looking for cash and gold ornaments in the house when Ms Farah Abro tried to stop them only to get hit the next moment.

Town police brought the dead body to Dadu Civil Hospital where doctors performed autopsy and handed over the body to relatives.

DSP Abdul Khaliq Waggan said that investigation was under way into the woman’s murder.
