KOHAT, Dec 30: Deputy Inspector-General of Police of Kohat Region Abdul Majeed Marwat termed it vital to equip the NWFP police with modern telecommunication system, arms and an increase in salaries and said it has become necessary for curbing high-profile crimes.
Addressing participants of the 33rd common training programme for CSP officers on Friday, he said under the present circumstances, every officer should perform his duties without political or personal affiliations.—Correspondent
