QUETTA Dec 29: A late match-winner by Sabih helped PAF defeat Dera XI 3-2 in PFF league qualifiers in D.I. Khan on Thursday. Dera XI’s Mohammad Faheem opened the scoring in the 32nd minute through a header off a corner.
Six minutes into second half, Arshad Jan drew level with powerful shot from edge of the box.
Faheem grabbed the lead for the losers once again when he weaved through PAF defenders in the 71st minute.
PAF’s Ibrar made it 2-2 nine minutes later.
Sabih came into action a minute before time to help airmen emerge victors.—PPI
