DERA GHAZI KHAN: Matriculation ceremony was held at the Ghazi University on Wednesday to formally admit the fresh men and women to Mphil and PhD programme of the Islamic Studies department.

Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Kamran and chief guest MNA Zartaj Gull congratulated the Department of Islamic Studies Chairman Prof Dr Arshad Munir Leghari for holding the ceremony in which fresh men and women arrived in a procession wearing black gowns to take Matriculation Oath.

The VC in his address expressed the hope that the newly-admitted scholars would play a pivotal role in building a tolerant and robust society. At the end of the ceremony, certificates were distributed among the teachers for their excellent performance. Dr Muhammad Ayaz was declared the best event organiser.
