LDHA elections held

LAHORE, Jan 29: Haji Zafar and Muhammad Husain were elected as president and secretary of the Lahore District Hockey Association in the elections held on Tuesday.

The elections were held by the District Coordination Officer on the instructions of the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF).

The former secretary of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Hafiz Salman Butt was elected in the executive body.

All the 25 clubs which were cleared by the PHF scrutiny committee cast their votes.

Office-bearers are:

President: Haji Zafar.

Vice-presidents: Miraj Din, Javed Bashir.

Secretary: Muhammad Husain.

Joint secretaries: Muhammad Ayub Chaudhary, Musleh-ud-Din.

Finance secretary: Afzal Mana.

Executive body: Hafiz Salman Butt, Ashiq Ali, Muhammad Yaqoob, Zahid Akhtar Butt, Iftikhar Ahmed.

Representative of Punjab, Akhtar Rasool Chaudhary.
