ARD’s demo postponed

ISLAMABAD, Dec 27: The Alliance for the Restoration of Democracy (ARD) on Tuesday announced postponement of its meeting and a protest demonstration against Balochistan operation, scheduled to be held in Islamabad on Thursday. In a statement here on Tuesday evening, ARD Secretary-General Iqbal Zafar Jhagra said the meeting and the demonstration had been postponed as some opposition parties had committed to take part in the already announced activities on Thursday.

Mr Jhagra said the next ARD meeting and the demonstration was expected to be held on January 2.
