ISLAMABAD: World’s finest athletes are arriving in Islamabad to feature in the prestigious Combaxx fourth Asian Open International Taekwondo Championship (G2) being held from Nov 1 to 4 here at Liaquat Gymnasium of the Pakistan Sports Complex, it was announced on Monday.

The event is being organised by the Pakistan Taekwondo Federation (PTF).

PTF president retired Lt Col Waseem Ahmed Janjua said 536 athletes would compete for glory across 16 (male/female) senior categories and five (male/female) junior categories, said a press release issued here on Monday.

According to the official, senior and youngsters mostly aged 18 and above and Under-17 would be participating in the senior/junior male and female Kyorugi event.
