All Multan candidates return unopposed

MULTAN, Dec 26: All seven naib nazims of the Multan city district and six towns, who filed their nomination papers on Monday, returned unopposed. They are said to be PML-supported candidates.

According to the returning officers concerned, the successful naib nazims are:

City district naib nazim Syed Wajid Ali Shah, Mumtazabad Town naib nazim Ghias Mahmood Marral, Bosan Town naib nazim Mohammad Fayyaz Khan, Shah Rukn-i-Alam Town naib nazim Mohammad Qaisar Gujjar, Sher Shah Town naib nazim Mushtaq Ahmad Ansari, Shujabad Town naib nazim Rao Khalid Saeed, and Jalalpur Pirwala Town naib nazim Malik Zafar Laang.—APP
