TAXILA: Three persons were arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 13-year-old boy in the Burhan village in the limits of Hassanabdal police station on Saturday.

The victim’s father has reported to police that his son was returning from school when the culprits took his son to a house where they forcefully molested him.

He took his son to police station and medical examination of the victim confirmed the sexual assault.

Separately, two armed robbers looted a sales van of a local food factory at gunpoint near Burhan interchange in the limits of Hassanabdal police station.

Umer reported to police that he was returning to factory when two masked men came on a motorcycle and snatched cash worth Rs250,000 and fled away successfully.
