KARACHI: Pakistan’s Ahsan Ramzan and Babar Masih chalked up their second successive victories in the World 6-Reds Snooker Championship which is in progress at Kuala Lumpur on Friday.
World champion Ahsan cruised to 4-1 victory over Malaysian Thor Chuan Leong to stay unbeaten in Group ‘M’. Ahsan won the duel 13-49, 48-26, 34-10, 47-13, 50-8 and is slated to face Iraq’s Alijalil Ali in his last group fixture on Saturday.
Babar conceded two frames while notching up a 4-2 victory over Gan Hui Huang of Malaysia with the scores being 55-0, 53-1, 68-0, 8-51, 13-44, 41-0. He is drawn to face UAE’s Khalid Kamali in his last Group ‘R’ encounter on Saturday.
